Welcome to Bonsai4U Background: Charles Ceronio started in 1968 and advocated the use of indigenous plant material for Bonsai, due to their adapt- ability to the harsh African climate. He has travelled extensively all over South Africa by invitation of various Bonsai Clubs due to his skill and expertise in the field. Charles studied the art of Bonsai under the guidance of the late world famous Bonsai Master, Mr. John Naka and assisted him in Pretoria during his numerous visits to South Africa. Charles also appeared on several Bonsai programs on national television in South Africa (Kyk-Net and Keith Kirsten's show on SABC2) as well as in Slovakia, Brazil and Pakistan.
